What is a suplex?

A suplex is a professional wrestling move in which one wrestler lifts their opponent off the ground and throws them backwards or sideways onto the mat. It is considered a high-impact move and is often used to weaken or stun an opponent in a match.

There are several variations of the suplex, including the vertical suplex, where the opponent is lifted straight up and then dropped backwards; the belly-to-back suplex, where the opponent is lifted and thrown over the wrestler's head onto their back; and the German suplex, where the opponent is lifted and thrown over the wrestler's head while bridging their own body.

The suplex is a popular move in professional wrestling and is often used by larger, more powerful wrestlers to showcase their strength and dominance in the ring. It can be a visually impressive move, especially when executed with speed and precision. However, it can also be a dangerous move if not performed correctly, as it can result in serious injury to both the wrestler executing the move and their opponent.
